Today during the second half of classes at El Sol, my class went to a place called Crepes & Waffles near the school. We all ordered from the menu and I got a crepe with strawberries, banana, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream! It was delicious and I included a photo of it below!
After El Sol we went back to UNIFE and had a lecture on Peruvian architecture. We talked about many of the buildings we've visited on tours, such as the Cathedral and Palace in Plaza Mayor, and the Church of San Fransisco.
After the lecture we gathered in the library of the university and four students from Northeastern spoke in English about different American activities and the translators at UNIFE translated what they said into Spanish. We had people talk about tailgating, soccer, gymnastics, and rock climbing. We then continued with presenting chapters from the book in Spanish and having the UNIFE translators translate what we said into English.
Tomorrow is our last day at El Sol and UNIFE. I think we have two farewell activities at both schools which should be fun!
